Nestled at the feet of the last Massif Central foothills, Moissac is part of the "Midi-Pyrénées" region in Southern Western France.

About 200 kilometres (124 miles) from the Pyrénées mountains, Auvergne mounts, the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, besides Quercy, Rouergue, Aquitaine, Gascogne, Languedoc regions meet in this small province town.
